Songbird is another bizarre production.

Imagine - a music program that does everything fabulously, loads library, automatically updates, fetches lyrics, web integration , skins , stability etc...

you're better off with Exaile.
The sound is much richer and it's clean and simple.

Banshee is an incredibly amateurish effort.

1. In System->Preferences->Sound , set everything to ALSA instead of pulseaudio
2. in terminal:
killall...

I completely removed PulseAudio from my system and reverted to Flash plugin 9

upgrading to 8.10 have messed up my system completely:

Oz, this is due to some quirk in Flash plugin for firefox.
Go to System->Preferences->Sound
change all tabs to ALSA
