umm.. dunno what soundcard i'm using. the onboard 6 channel one. i got a a gigabyte motherboard with nvidia chipset.

ok this has pretty much worked. Only issue is, out of the 4 speakers and 1 subwoofer, one speaker doesn't produce an output.. which is the left rear one. Any idea why? i've put in the same config as...

I have a doubt here. The whole how to seems to be based on the fact that each of those surround sound speakers enter a port on the back side of the cpu.
In my case, I have a Creative 4.1 speaker...
