Hi there.
I've got a USB card reader, a Trust 15092 to be precise. The card reader itself is recognized when I plug it in, but any cards inside it aren't.

Because it's QT, and there's no save patch for it.
Works as intended, sucks totally.
A seemingly simple question: What does "SBr Temp" mean? I couldn't find anything about it on the lm-sensors home page...
Dapper isn't bad in terms of speed, but if you've used BeOS before, everything else is dog slow for you.
I use the regular search box on top of the page.
It would be good if results in the jail were excluded from standard searches, as they're usually irrellevant (duh). As a side-effect, this could also reduce server load by a margin.
Also, the Lucida Grande fonts you find on the net don't include bold typefaces (and of course have a questionable legal status).
You might want to look into B&H Luxi Sans:
sudo apt-get install...
Depends on how they set up their network.
That's not a good logo. There's no contrast between the background and the Ubuntu logo. Also, by using that shiny button (background) you use shape as a form of distinction. It's just a round blurb.
You can also make a small DOS or FreeDOS (I believe it's called GNU/DOS now) partition.
Even selling the software is alright according to the GPL, as long as you deliver the source code with it and grant your clients the same rights. So you should have no problems.
There are a lot of similar themes out there already, but nevertheless it#s very nice.
Read the GNOME Human Interface Guidelines! Having extension labels on the icons is pure evil.
Speaking of the...
I ditched Windows entirely in 2001 (I still had it for gaming, but then I needed space to install BeOS). It was a relief!
What part of your question is still unanswered?
i switched in 2000. To BeOS, then.
I of course use Still Life, my own icon set.
Wallpapers change regularly, but at the moments it's http://www.flickr.com/photos/garrett/90054295 .
Of course not... I was just referring to the Firefox icon.
Just install "nautilus-sendto". IIRC, it's even in hoary universe.
I voted for Mac OS X because Linux doesn't work with the wireless chips on macs, and AFAIK there's no 3D acceleration with X on the Mac Mini and Bluetooth is untested.
If you're reffering to the screenshot by codemills, that icon is not from Andy Fitz, I made it. You can get the whole set (actually it's still WIP) here.
Ubuntu supports kickstart too.
My Hoary CDs came today. The Warty CDs were somewhat faster. Nevermind, I apt-get upgraded anyway, and now I can distributed CDs to my friends.
two words: Apple iBook.
I haven't switched completely to Linux and I probably won't, however I've ditched ******* completely. I tried XP when it was new and saw that it was just the same crap. My main OS was BeOS at that...
