    Install devilspie - application defining rules for windows.
    I have it under XFCE and it works great.
    Moreover it is not a window manager, just a small demon.

    [gnome] Margines for window maximizing in Gnome

    I use VirtualBox with Windows installed under Gnome. In seamless mode there are two taskbars displayed: Gnome taskbar and Windows taskbar.
    It works just fine but I've problem with Windows taskbar....
