Try following this howto: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1346125
Also again (and presumably for the last time), the two posts in question did not attack or harass a forum member (or anyone else), call anyone names, and were not condescending.
To be clearer: none of you could point out a rule that justified the action by being violated.
I wasn't questioning whether it was "allowed" (because the site owner and his representatives decide...
Yet none of you could point out which rule.
It comes as no surprise that complaining to mods about mods is unsuccessful.
I'm sorry iRock, but you really don't understand what you are talking about.

That's not what happened.
I quoted a harmless comment that was removed because it referred to a third post that was removed for CoC violations.
I can't comment on the original post, as I didn't...
This should get rid of it:
$ sudo -u gdm gconftool-2 --set /desktop/gnome/sound/event_sounds --type bool false
Edit the file /etc/fstab as root.
You will find the disks mounted at boot there, one per line.
Look in gparted or the result of typing "mount" in the terminal to determine which line is the disk...
I wrote this howto after my possibly similar problem, it may help:

Understood, thanks.
I'm not arguing about the right to edit, anyone appointed by the owners of this site can do as they please.

The lack of an edit button caused me to mess up those previous two posts...
There isn't a hard and fast rule that says quotes of deleted posts must edited out (I've even reported quotes of deleted posts and seen nothing happen).
Why was the post I quoted deleted?
It also did not violate the CoC.
It said (from memory):

If you're in the US, making a personal backup is ok, but on the other hand DCMA makes breaking the encryption needed to do this illegal! So there's a conflict...
Make those statistics say something positive about Linux.
I guess he probably assumed "...or pay for it." would be tacked on the end by default ;)
If you mean me, I most certainly did NOT say that.

I really dislike some of Apple's behaviour too (mostly Psystar related) and I think this HTC issue is absurd, but I would like to see them get bigger at the expense of MS.
Those examples you give...
Swapping pages to disk? Just make sure you have enough physical memory, and that problem evaporates.
It doesn't "go both ways". There are no advantages to 32 bit over 64 bit, provided you have enough RAM that the larger pointers don't fill it up, and assuming those same larger pointers don't lower...
