Cold Boot on 3.9.0.2 works just fine on my 2010 Dell Inspiron Zino 400 HD PC! :-)
Hello Elfy, the only reason why I test only Ubuntu is that I have 1 PC with UEFI Firmware, and another with a Brand New 120 Giga Byte Crucial M500 SSD. Just FYI. :-)
I love testing the Mozilla Firefox Nightly Builds @ http://nightly.mozilla.org/ :-)
I would hope NOT as I prefer Mozilla Firefox over Google Chrome on both my Dell PC and my Samsung Galaxy S4!
Have NOT tried a Cold Boot Up yet (where I had my problem) but Ubuntu Kernel 3.9.0.2 seems to be working better than 3.9.0.1 on my 2010 Dell Inspiron Zino 400 HD Desktop PC! Just FYI!
I did tell him that I had no Severe problems with BTRFS and that I planned to continue using it by the way! :-)
I am not sure why this particular user said all these things but he was one of the Veterans of the Forum and he made a reference to BTRFS as still being Experimental in Nature when compared to EXT...
Just a small Warning about BTRFS: When I spoke to some of the other M500 Users on Crucial's SSD Forum, They said that they do NOT recommend using BTRFS yet as it is less than 5 years old, and may...
Ubuntu + GNOME 13.10 Remix is NOT working for me either! Just FYI!
I know what you mean by Dummy Temp Value, my previous Crucial M4 SSD always reported 0 Degrees Celsius!
The AMD Unity Build is still NOT working on my Dell Inspiron Zino 400 HD Desktop by the way!
Finally a SSD from Crucial that reports the Temperature of the SSD! :-)
I am back at 13.10 Testing even though my PH (Personal Hotspot) is turned off until May 25th. I recently discovered that my new Samsung Galaxy S4 can download .ISO files directly to the Phone itself!...
Nevermind, it's just the Google Play Store that is very slow right now! Everything else is 4G LTE!
The 4G LTE on my new Samsung Galaxy S4 is acting very SLOW, much slower than my Previous Apple IPhone 5 with 4G LTE! Unless this issue somehow fixes itself, Downloading 13.10 in the Future may NOT be...
So there will be no way to get this Software on an Existing Android Cell Phone is what you are telling me right? I did Re-Read the Ubuntu Cell Phones Home Page and did NOT realize that you have to be...
Thank you for Replying to what may seem like a Silly Question BUT It has been a while since I owned an Android Cell Phone (I have been buying IPhone's for the Past couple of years and this is my...
Before I ask my question: I must Apoligize for my recent Bad Behavior for trying to tell you guys what you can an can and can not post, I now realize that it's Cariboo907's job to due that (and the...
My point is that I have experienced absolutely 0 Problems Logging into Saucy, therefore what you guys are Discussing is a Raring Problem, NOT a Saucy Problem, as I have all ready verified that TTY1...
I just checked the CDImage Website, and the only thing Canonical has NOT yet Uploaded is the WUBI files, which may mean that we will NOT be Testing WUBI until later in the Development Cycle?
No more discussions about Raring Please as the Split Off has now taken place, the Saucy Tool Chain should be 100% UP, and all the Saucy Nightly Builds should be up by now.
P.S. The scheudule says The Split Off takes place today @ 21:00 UTC! It is now 21:24 UTC! All discussions of Raring in this Sub-Forum must now end.
The previous poster is incorrect by the way, May 2nd: Saucy Tool Chain Uploaded, if you can NOT read Cariboo907's comments about how May 2nd is the first Official Day of Saucy Salamander Alpha...
Excuse me sir but I am getting Updates in Saucy Main that I am NOT getting in Raring Main, which I started getting as early as Monday, Chicago Time Zone, before I put in Ventrical's 3 command's, I...
What exactly is Plymoth? I am not all that knowledgeable in Ubuntu Coding Language, as I used to be a 100% Microsoft Windows Computer Nerd, but Windows Me, Windows Vista, and now Windows 8 has...
