Does it look like this one?

My netbook is a 10.2" MSI with a 6 cell (4400 mAh) battery -- very similar in size to the Starling. There's more than enough room for the 6 cell battery attached to the computer. I'm sure a 9 cell...
I've been happy with the Case Logic LNEO-10 neoprene sleeve. The front zip pocket has enough room for the ac adapter and a mouse.
I'd suggest using gparted to re-partition the hdd from the 10.04 live cd. (I'm pretty sure gparted is on there.) While you're at it, why not update to 10.10?
My Ratel (pre-installed w/ 10.10)...
One of my computers running Ubuntu starting doing the same thing after installing updates in the first week of March (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1701041). My other computer doesn't have...
I get you now: "others exactly like" the one in your original post. Would you mind posting another example -- of one only found in iTunes?
If you're asking about the link to the WOR 710 page(s), it was easy to find given the information at the iTunes link you provided: title and radio station call letters. I used Google to find the...
That probably is easier. I'm always thinking in terms of subscribing rather than downloading, even though the OP did write download.
Try the following link with something like gpodder or Rhythmbox and let me know if it works:

I came by the RSS feed link as follows.
Pointed Firefox...
Sorry, thought I was clear about that in the original post. The encoding is fine, it's just the wrong bitrate showing whenever I look at the audio properties: like gstreamer is tagging the file as...
Booting the last two kernels (.25 and .23) didn't fix it. Must be something else that changed since last Wed. I'll keep working on it.
I'd say something is wrong if you don't see a Touchpad tab in the dialog box produced by selecting the System->Preferences->Mouse menu option. The Touchpad preferences includes options to "Disable...
I think you're experiencing this known bug:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/upower/+bug/531190
It happens all the time on my netbook if I don't suspend before unplugging the cord.
This may be a minor irritation, but I'm puzzled by it nonetheless. I'm ripping my CDs to MP3 using Sound Juicer with the lamemp3enc plugin and following gstreamer pipeline.

From where did you learn that Apple iOS is based on Linux? I don't think that is true at all beyond the argument that Mac OS-X (and by extension iOS) and Linux have some common ancestry from UNIX. ...
jr223, thanks for the post. Are you able to get the BIOS boot menu from F10? Also, are you using HDMI or DVI? Switching to DVI helped to fix the intermittent boot splash logo and menu. I'm...
I was running from the LiveCD. Nothing mounted and swap off. I suspect it was just a quirk in how the disk was partitioned/imaged during the initial system build. I only brought it up because I've...
To separate user data from the operating system. Separating /home makes it possible to reinstall the OS without having to restore your data from backup(s). It also makes it easy if you want to...
My ratu1 was delivered with a 3.5 GB extended partition occupied with one logical partition for swap. The rest of the 1.5TB drive was consumed by one primary partition formatted as ext4 and mounted...
Alex, good point: since it will let me into the BIOS settings (but not the boot menu), I'll try changing the boot device order and see if that will let me update to the BIOS from a USB drive.

I've run into my first issue with a new Ratel Ultra. Sometimes the startup menu (bios settings, update flash, boot menu) doesn't even appear when I turn it on, and never from reset/reboot. ...
My black Ratel Ultra was delivered on Monday, and I'm very excited about this computer. The Lian-Li case is nicer than one would think from the System76 website photos. The brushed aluminum...
Don't know about K9copy, but Handbrake certainly does as long as you have the appropriate libraries installed. VLC will too.
Have you looked at any of the Ubuntu pre-install vendors? System76 and ZaReason are the two that most come to mind for me. Having decided I would not be buying another computer with Windows...
Unfortunately, I've never looked at SQuirrelSQL and so I don't know where you're coming from. I have played around with Eclipse DTP some, albeit in WinXP at work, and so I might be able to help you...
