  1. [xubuntu] Re: How can you install spesific Apache, PHP & MySQL versions?

Gotcha. I'm more concerned about the PHP version to be honest. I'll dig around and see what I end up with.

    Thanks for the feedback.
  2. [xubuntu] Re: How can you install spesific Apache, PHP & MySQL versions?

The apt-get command in the SF topic won't work?

Was hoping to replicate current setup. Don't want to just jump into a newer versions before I know I can replicate the existing environment.
  3. [xubuntu] Re: How can you install spesific Apache, PHP & MySQL versions?

hmm... What about this SF topic: http://serverfault.com/a/353562/116334

    Does this apply to XUbuntu?
  4. [xubuntu] Re: How can you install spesific Apache, PHP & MySQL versions?

:( That does explain why I found so little info. My questions here usually ends up in compiling something... Might be that I have to bite the bullet on this one. ...or get a virtual Windows license,...
  5. [xubuntu] How can you install spesific Apache, PHP & MySQL versions?

I want to replicate the setup of my website. Up until now I've used my windows machine with WAMP which is very easy to set up with specific Apache, PHP and MySQL versions.

But I wanted to create a...

  9. [xubuntu] Re: Install screen font size is tinyn - can't read

    hmm...

I eventually clicked Quit in the installer and it then exited to the Live CD version. There the text was fine. When I clicked the install icon on the desktop there I could proceed through...
  10. [xubuntu] Re: Install screen font size is tinyn - can't read

On a sidenote; I find it odd that the system will allow itself to automatically set a font size that small.

Should be a limit to 8px minimum as nothing is readable that small...
  11. [xubuntu] Install screen font size is tinyn - can't read

I'm trying to install XUbuntu 9.4 on an Via Epia SP 13000 which is connected to my 32" Samsung TV.

[ubuntu] Re: Will ATI r350 cards work?

Has there been any change to the support of these cards?

I was looking at the bug report which the upgrade page referred to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/fglrx-installer/+bug/284408

[ubuntu] Re: /boot full after internet upgrade

Thank you so much! I got the same problem.
  18. [ubuntu] Re: /boot full and Synapics "report dpkg was interrupted"

Found the same suggestion in this thread: http://ohioloco.ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=769572

That appeared to work. Ubuntu is now downloading updates. Thanks!
  19. [ubuntu] Re: /boot full and Synapics "report dpkg was interrupted"

    Could I...

...move some of the old Kernel files to a different location, run the command again? Then hopefully Synapics will work again and I can uninstall some of the other old Kernel images....
  20. [ubuntu] Re: /boot full and Synapics "report dpkg was interrupted"

That's the commend I typed in the first example I gave. It stops because the boot partition is full. I'm stuck in this loop of errors. I can't fix one unless I fix the other.
  21. [ubuntu] [SOLVED] /boot full and Synapics "report dpkg was interrupted"

I can't update Ubuntu any more.
