This was a double post, oops.
So I have been working with importing bitmaps into a c/++ program and storing the data as "width," "height," and "color data." After working with the BMP files now for a while, I realized something...
Wow! That sounds like it will work. For what I need, OpenGL need only access a char* that contains the image data, and that can be easily stored in a variable. That sounds like a great idea, thanks!
Is this possible?
For example, I'm making something in OpenGL that uses textures and would like it if the texture images could be packed in with the compiled program binary.
Thanks,

anybody?
Yeah, that's still how IE does it. I just decided to make ternary statements that set the height/width values to a little bit larger for IE.
A quick google showed that Chairman's is the way...
bump; help?
Wow, I just realized I hadn't put my doctype in, and some meta tags.
Nonetheless, thanks guys. I ended up making a little ternary statement whenever I needed a different CSS value for IE and it...
I think that sounds like a good idea, but nonetheless, I can't understand why my widths for divs are differen't in IE. And, for that matter, it seems to have handled "top" and "left" wrong as well. ...
Hello everyone,
I'm working on a website for my robotics team and I made it look just how I wanted on Firefox. However, the CSS completely fails on Internet Explorer. Does anyone have a better...
I recently put Linux Mint (child of Ubuntu) on a USB stick, and made it persistent. However, as everyone knows, a persistent setup takes a much longer time to load and shut down than a...

I am trying to change the permissions for a folder I have mounted on an ntfs partition that if mounted through fstab on startup. It is owned by me through fstab, and is also owned by my group (just...
I'll give this a shot but it'll have to be after I get back from vacation.
lol that's basically doing the same thing as putting it in startup applications is it not?
Title kind of says it all. Basically everytime I log in compiz never starts and I have to do a compiz --replace. Is there a way to get compiz to start on its own?
I didn't have this problem...
My apologies, here's what I did.

Well, in fact I have a 1251nr, so the card in mine is an nVidia GeForce 9200M, sorry.
I figure the remote/mic/webcam would be the same, but the graphics cards aren't.
Mic is working along with the webcam in 10.04. Even the flash extension for the webcam and mic are working for me, its great.
However, I cannot figure out how to get the remote to completely...

Thanks! I just couldn't find out what the name of the boot screen thing was (plymouth, for future reference). Now I should be able to find my way out.

I've attempted to attach an image that shows what is showing up at the top of my screen when I switch to any of the tty's and also while the computer boots up/shuts down.
I installed hwinfo and my...
I could really only narrow the problem down to overheating, because the seemed to be the reason why at least my laptop wouldn't charge. Try placing the laptop in a cool and letting it charge.

Hah is it even fair to question the viability of using Windows to begin with?
