For the record, you can turn on the compose and contact links for tb in the panel by adding this to the bottom of the .desktop entry mentioned above.

Just installed monodevelop and it seems to work fine with globalmenu, other than the usual random segfaults. It took a couple of dozen starts before I had a problem.

Yes, I do use global menu as it happens - I've disabled it and no segfaults so far today... Thanks for the tip!

Same here, libgobject-2.0.so.0.2000.1 segfaulting nautilus mainly, but also evolution etc. Only seems to happen on my 64 bit install, 32 bit stuff is fine...
