I solved the issue about starting the server by adding to the PATH environment variable the paths pointing to the android sdk locations:

open ~/.profile with an editor, find export...

This worked for me. Cool! Thanks.

So did I follow the steps suggested by Ivo on pass three. It worked well.

After a while I have been looking around on the web for a solution I solved by disabling the mouse pad while using an external usb mouse.

I am using Ubuntu 10.04, so by following this indications...

On a fresh install of 10.04, this worked for me as well but, I had to put ',user' instead of ',uid=1000' to mount the volume.
By putting ,uid=1000 it did not let me mount it complaining for bad...

I have little experience in writing python code. I think Gedit is great but for Python I'm finding Geany a better choice!
