Acer 5250 running 10.04 won't install 12.04.1.

New disc from osdisc.com won't even load to try it.

I put it on the wife's pc and it loads fine. But not on my acer. Hers has nvidia, mine...

How did you get 12.04 to load on your acer 5290.

I'm running 10.04 and my acer just won't take the 12.04.

That link is to my laptops specs. It doesn't mention nvidia anywhere.

Acer aspire 5250 laptop running 10.04 which loaded easily and runs great.

Purchased a live/install cd for 12.04 and it hangs up at the dots window.

Checked the forums.... couldn't find...

I tried this on my 2 year old Acer Aspire 5250 and it didn't do anything. I'm still stuck at the "dots".
Didn't happen to see any other work arounds did you?
