    Re: Notify-send HOWTO

Odd, I don't have a notify-bin package in my repositories. My version of notify-osd is 0.9.24, and for notify-send it's 0.4.5. Perhaps your DBUS version doesn't like the HTML?

[ubuntu] Re: ATI R300 driver on Ubuntu 8.10

    hello,
I have found that with my Radeon 9500 card the open source radeon drivers work better than the proprietary ones for compiz. Although the TV-out is somewhat troublesome.

  11. Re: LXDE 0.3 - Lightwght and Fast Desktop Environment (apt repo is provided)

I am amazed by LXDE! I have it installed next to my Gnome+Compiz Ubuntu installation which was running a bit slow. LXDE seems to regain some speed, even with Compiz enabled in LXDE.
