    I need help.
    Sounds are not working at all.

    options snd-hda-intel model=gateway

    used to work for me when I was using Ubuntu 8.10.
    I am now using Ubuntu 9.04

    I have no pulseaudio installed.

    This used to work my ECS notebook as well. I was using Ubuntu 8.10 for over 7 months.
    Now that I've installed Ubuntu 9.04, it doesn't work.
    I wonder what has changed with Ubuntu that the old code...
