    i figured out that i must use an external proxy to test,
    the www.example.com dns update needed 11 hours while example.com took 1 hour

    but i notice that the website doesn't work with www
    so how can i redirect www.example.com to example.com

    in my new openvz vps i noted that bind9 is taking a lot of the RAM

    process info:
    ID Owner Size Command
    17559 root 290396 kB /usr/sbin/named -c /etc/bind/named.conf

    [ubuntu] Partitions Size

    I'm newbie and this is my first Ubuntu installation
    & i will make partitions as

    4GB for swap (i have 2G RAM)
    11 for root
    10 for /home


    is this enough for high performance Ubuntu...
