    What happens if you just enter the line in Terminal?

    syndaemon -i 3 -t -K

    Does that give errors?

    Does syndaemon appear in the list of processes in System Monitor?

    Also - try "1" instead...

    You have turned the Touchpad off permanently in xorg:

    Option "TouchpadOff" "1"

    You have to delete this line in order to get it to work on bootup!
