Well, I must say, that after the discussion above I'm very convinced to give it a shot. I'll leave root fs with ext4 for now but I'll convert home to btrfs and start making snapshots in scheme...
@rossmoore Thanks for the link. Have you experienced any power failures during that time? I run my system on a laptop which is using all CPU to compute some boinc stuff so it overheats occasionally...

But snapshots are kept within btrfs so aren't they at risk also?
How often do you...
I'm also waiting impatiently. Do you know where can I follow development updates regarding this issue (and btrfs in general)?
I've read some mailing lists but it is very inconvenient, as it is...
Hi all,

As soon as I have some spare time (the term is coming to an end, so I have a lot of to learn now :)) I'll check some of the solutions provided, and read this information...
Hi!
I've been trying to learn something about GPU programming lately, and I've came to the following issue:
I have to configure the path variables to contain /usr/local/cuda, /usr/local/cuda/bin...
Hi!

On on the other thought how is it even possible if the pc speaker module is blacklistet thus not loaded? Who's generating the beep?!
Same problem here. I'll check out if turning off the splash screen will help. But very annoying thou. Why isn't this bug fixed yet?
Had the same problem as above, but in my case
sudo apt-get update was good solution. After that installer worked just fine.
I've solved this problem earlier. You have to delete configuration files for ksysguard somewhere in ~/.kde/
I won't tell you the exact location now, because I've lost my laptop where I had KDE and...
The second answer was great in simplicity and I've learned something that might be handy in the future, but it doesn't solve this particular problem.
Maybe the script is run at a point that...
Hi all!

As I don't use...
