I should state that unlike power saving mechanisms, there is no minimum time delay.

My problem appears to be something to do with VMware. I have Samba and smbf installed, but I am dubious as to whether VMware Tools has installed properly. I can get to the internet but no shared...

I am using VMWare Workstation 6 to run Hardy - the host OS is Vista Ultimate 32.

I simply want to know how I can transfer files from the host OS's hard drive to the virtual drive of the guest OS...

Any suggestions? It appeared to be putting stuff all over my filesystem, and if it's stuff made with alien I'd rather it come back off again being as how it's not doing anything useful.

I've got a z708 and somebody else here said it worked for them so I tried it. I don't think it's working for me.
