Nautilus has started playing on my machine - it was all good but all of a sudden I've noticed two problems:

1. Links to files/folders from the activities overview do not work (nothing happens);...

I have tomboy in my dash favourites but there is no applet unfortunately.

What's happened to the tomboy applet in Ubuntu 18/Gnome. It's nowhere to be found and installing the gnome extensions leads to an error.

That makes sense. In that case, can you just clear them for a particular date range?

Yes, other's have commented that it works of for them. In my case I have to use Nautilus for the searches to be meaningful.

I've got online search results disabled so that should not be an issue. The most basic and obvious search results sometimes fail to come up in the Dash. For instance, one would imagine that typing...
