I am planning to give BSD (FreeBSD probably) a try but I don't have time for that.

Currently, using Ubuntu under a Virtualboxed Windows.

My problem is with the fan driver.

When the cooling fan starts working, it does not stop in any way! Just continues to work (at the very most level i guess) after starting itself.
