Have you tried Neutronium...it has emerald, gtk2 and metacity. It can be found on gnome-look.org.

Well...sorry I can't give any before/after screens....but I can tell you this...run that script and then use the Liberation font....then you will see the difference.
I already had the "subpixel font rendering" patched....however the Liberation font was really nice. Very clean, simpel and clear..really liked it.....thnx a bunch
Since I'm using a custom compiled kernel...I find it convinient to use envy script...wich also gives me the latest drivers from nvidia.
Easy to use...like the uninstall options...and works on any...
