Awesome this worked on my u330. Went form 28w to 16w. My watt use may be higher then others as I replaced my stock hardrive with a 320GB 7200 rpm harddrive.

I feel dumb now. In firefox I was specifiying the HTTP proxy instead of the socks proxy. Once I choose the socks proxy everything worked fine.
I tried the Galeon browser and had the same failed results.
Yes same problem here. I would guess its firefox 3 bug.
