[ubuntu] Re: Accidentally turned off Wi-Fi adapter

I've resorted to buying an ethernet cable which is about 10 metres too long and making a physical connection. It works perfectly!

    [ubuntu] Teamspeak 3 sound issues

    Hi,

I've been having problems with Teamspeak 3. Whenever I load it up, I need to close it and open it again, and it sounds very scratchy. For example, when I connect to a server, it sort of...

[ubuntu] Re: BT HomeHub 3 connectivity issues

Well it connected to BTFON fine, and it locates the network and tries to connect to it, but doesn't. I've tried all the common-sense fixes like checking the password, and it's left me pretty...

[ubuntu] Re: Accidentally turned off Wi-Fi adapter

I have 4GB of RAM installed, but I've been told the drivers for the adapter only work on 32-bit so I guess I have 3GB of RAM. There isn't an option for 3.2.0.27 on the boot screen, only 3.2.0.29 and...

[ubuntu] Re: Accidentally turned off Wi-Fi adapter

I am using ndiswrapper, yes. The only driver I have is for the adapter. Only other applications I've installed are things like Teamspeak and Skype, I can't see why that would do anything to it.

Tried that, but to no avail.

Didn't work either, which is quite a pain. If it helps:

So could it be a problem with my PC after all?

[ubuntu] Accidentally turned off Wi-Fi adapter

    Hello (again...),

    Hi,

Out of curiosity, is your ISP BT? Are you able to connect to other networks?

If it is BT, check this thread. The fixes haven't worked very well for me, but I hope they do for you:
