Case solved
Hi, everybody
When I go to home files all of the hidden folders are in view. I can hide them with ctrl H or via view options but once I leave and re-enter the hidden folders are all back again....
Thanks, Mc4man that's a relief to know, you've been a top help. I used gksudo gedit to add my data partition and UUID to fstab but as a rule I don't like playing about with it and now have further...
For sure, Vasa. I'm dual booting at the moment and wouldn't get rid of Windows entirely if for no other reason than it'd be almost imposible to sell my laptop in the future without it. If I was ever...
O.k, so I own my desktop - just checked - and copying over any other app icon to Desktop worked straight away. But the libre icons moved to desktop were owned by root. Before reading your previous...
Thanks, Smithy.
I installed and gave it a quick whirl but at first glance it seems to be just about personalizing desktop. I'll have another play about with it tomorrow...
Thanks, Mc4man but still no dice.
By colour I mean that the icons are grey with a lock symbol in bottom right corner. I tried the other way you suggested and the icons came out even more basic. I...
Thanks, Mc4man problem solved. I still can't get the libre icons in colour - before I kept office in launcer and the rest on desktop - but thats not a big deal.
