    So far, I've been happy with Ubuntu Gusty Gibbon. I might want to get into 8.04 sometime in the near future. The OS comes up smoothly each time I reboot my computer.

    Pointers use less amount of memory. Also, it would be helpful in referencing an array. A lot of built in functions use pointers.

    Looks like a type mismatch to me. I believe you have to do element to element not whole array = whole array. You maybe could find a C++ function that will do what you want.

    I've tried Edubuntu and Ubuntu. It seems like there was more stuff with Ubuntu. Also, it was easier to configure.
