    I own a Garmin Forerunner 305 GPS unit and it runs well with Ubuntu. You can try slickymaster's recommendation on the product that you see on Kickstarter campaign, it's the latest GPS watch I think.

    If you're talking about the Steam Machine, it's basically called a Steam Box. thnewguy explained it already. It will work on the TV out of the box - you plug it in HDMI cable, login on your Steam...
