hey guys,
this morning i ran an update, now for some reason everytime i boot, the whole gnomestyle is changed... after a few seconds everything changes back to normal besides the style of nautilus...

so i tried it (after a while now, sorry) and it gave me these errors and warnings, the first ones about screenshots showed up immediatly as soon as the program started
the ones after that dont...

so the doublestroke font, i dont know how to install that package, i have the file dsfont.sty but i dont know where to move it,...

i used to have it on 9.10 and had several .tex files compiled and ready already... no that i installed it again it won't build the pdfs anymore giving me a...

doesn't help for the respecitve problem in either of the programmes...

so i've been trying for a while now to capture videos with my webcam of my samsung n110 netbook, im running ubuntu 10.4 and cheese 2.30.1
i can take pictures fine, with effects and everything...

i realised, it works when i play music but not when i play a movie, any suggestions on this?

eversince i upgradet to 10.4 i experience problems with my netbook going to sleep after a while...
that means when i have it play music or play a movie i sometimes want it to go to sleep after...

going to network manager (system->preferences>networkmanager),
click on the connection you want to connect to automatically and press "edit"
the check the box "connect...

the only thing i found within desktop wall was a categorie called "move with window within wall" but that only enables me to make keyboard bindings like alt-shift-ctr-leftarrow not the mouse thing...
