Now if i type in sudo gparted and look at the partition table, sdb7 is there and the mount point is stated as /mnt/multimed-2

Here is what I see when I search for all partitions:

Ok did what you said and the gedit window came up. Now not sure what to do? I have never edited this before, sorry!:p
