My eMachine lasted for years before going kaput (I believe the GPU died.) If you're not going to build your own computer, then eMachines would be the brand I'd recommend.

Well first off, this is going to happen for a long while (if at all,) and I highly doubt it will ever be perfect. Also, not everybody is going to be willing to port, especially for old games/programs.
I wish people would stop complaining about how developers use their free time.

My friend uses it. Not out of choice, but because where he lives there's no high-speed availible (that isn't at outrageous prices.)
I can't think of seriously using Tor for everyday internet, though, which is why I say anything more is overkill. :p
