    Thanks. Yes it only just happened and I became stuck at the Busybox thing.

    I have now run
    fsck -r /dev/sda1
    and that fixed it. Able to mount and I am now back in. Thanks.:D

    May more likely be an issue with the graphics card as you have identified rather than with flash player.

    It was just me. The file ~/.grsync/grsync.ini had somehow been changed to place the window on another desktop so I could not see that it was already open.
