I've been trying to update the packages on my subnotebook for some time, and they would consistently fail over the past month because of a "break," in the dependencies, I presume. Upgrades to 9.04...

I did check BIOS and other hardware switches, they are on. Installing the b43 driver turned the wifi on, or at least the LED showing that it's on is on. Removing the b43 driver keeps the light off.

I ended up using this thread to try to work with ndiswrapper and after going through all of the steps, including building ndiswrapper, it did not work.
It seems I have absolutely no recourse here....

I did a full, complete installation, so I do not have the broadcomm drivers to use from Windows...
