There is a much simpler solution!
The gnome-pilot evolution conduits have been moved from the evolution package to the gnome-pilot package.
You need to get hold of gnome-pilot 2.32.0.

Solved (for me, at least) by running "update-manager --proposed"
That 'smiley' in my previous message should be colon-D
That is, it should read "$Storable::" followed by "Deparse = 1;"
Add the following line to the file "iesms.pm" just after the line that says "use constant TG4W_QUIET => 0":
$Storable::forgive_me = 1;
It doesn't kill the error message, but the text...
I have a Jabra BT125, and could not get it to work with Hardy 8.04.
