this has been fixed. I deleted everything in the ~/.sipie directory and relaunched sipie, and it's working.

Not sure if you got an answer yet, but if you mistyped your username/password when logging into sipie, you can remove the config file with the command below:
rm ~/.sipie/config

I'm running Ubuntu Herdy with the latest version of wine. I will try the other compatibility modes in wine to see if that helps.
