Re: Torque Game Builder for Linux

GarageGames in their infinite wisdom changed their codebase awhile back adding platform specific (said Windows only) GUI routines to all off their torque products.

Seriously though, it's pretty cool that they are willing to do it if they can get enough people.
  5. Re: DirextX10 for Open Source OSs? (NOT WINE!!)

First of all, this is all about trying to get OOXML pushed as a standard so they aren't forced to implement ODF.

This is about their Office formats. Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc... and it isn't...

Finished porting the software for SPC creation.

Here is the source and here is the original website containing the original source and the documentation.

    Re: Revitalizing an old project.

    haha

I'm going insane trying to figure out the best way to drop the sound engine in to the existing code. While I have been trying to figure that out, I've been working on porting a tool that will...

    Re: Revitalizing an old project.

As soon as I get the scons system fixed up for it, I'll commit it and post it here. There will be an OpenGL branch coming too. Got that all worked out. Preparing GUI based tools for creating sprite...

    Re: Revitalizing an old project.

New sound system coming down the pipe. 64bit only currently. Threw out the old code completely and went with SPC700 after reading up on the format.

    Here is the test.

    To run it:

    Re: SNES9X GTK+ Packages

Yeah. That's where the problem stems from. Checkinstall along with most other auto packagers require an install target in the makefile to generate the proper targets in the rules file.

    Re: SNES9X GTK+ Packages

Understandable. Checkinstall can be wonky at times. I'm bashing my head in trying to get OpenGL to work in it. It's driving me nuts. Configured for it, compiled with, but it's completely greyed out...

    Virtual Jauguar 1.0.7 AMD64

A system that seems to get overlooked quite often is Atari's Jaguar, so I grabbed the old SDL port and fixed the code up to get it to compile for 64 bit systems.

I posted that message up there before I found out about what Richard was doing with Mupen. It runs incredibly on my system with the new 64 bit dynarec. I'm loving it.

    Re: Revitalizing an old project.

Running a virtual machine on this computer is painful. I'd be fine compiling, but running it would be out of the question, so testing is pretty much impossible.

Re: Will older .debs work on newer Ubuntu?

Debian packages are dependent on certain versions of libraries. There is a good chance that they won't as the binary contained inside the package was linked against those versions.
