    Ubuntu 12.10 doesn't seem to detect your fluxbox, because you don't get the options for selecting the session... You should have at least two valid sessions to be able to select among them.

    What do you mean by "no options"? Do you mean that you can't select the session you want to log on?

    There is a tool named 'Unity Tweak Tool', and I guess GreggyZed used it in order to change settings.

    In raring ringtail, you can not open a terminal window by pressing CTRL+F1. Try CTRL+ALT+F1.

    Well yes you could, by going to 'Preferences' -> 'Profile & Backend' and selecting 'Reset to defaults' under 'Profile'.
