Have you tried using the latest version from our github repository?

Well it doesn't help too much. First of all, "latest" isn't clear because it depends on where you got the "latest" from. If it's the main Ubuntu repository, then you might wanna pull Greybird from...
Well first of all I need a bit of information:
* what version of Ubuntu/Gtk3 are you using?
* what version of Greybird are you using?
What parts did you modify exactly (usually the top panel...
Unfortunately I'm aware of this problem. I thought I fixed it when I switched off window-moving by grabbing the toolbar in Greybird. I guess I'll have to investigate this further.
Please file a...
hm, this doesn't work for me in ubuntu 11.10, seems like a strange bug with skype that i never had before and that i can't seem to be able to solve...
did you remove the notification area (aka systray)?
if you didn't install gnome-power-manager you won't have any power-manager stuff as indicator since xfce4-power-manager only supports systray...
i'm also experiencing what zilvador mentions here (envelope stays blue even after reading messages, not group conversations)
i'm not entirely sure whether it's related to your script or the...
i think what you're looking for is tumbler, xfce's new thumbnailing service.
if you upgraded maybe the respective packages didn't get installed.
it should be pretty straight-forward to fix this, all you need to do is uninstall the package "indicator-applet-appmenu".
then logout and re-login, that should be it.
as the author of the greybird theme i can safely tell you that it's impossible to make the background of the indicator-plugin transparent.
this is not an issue of the theme but an issue of the...
gmusicbrowser: +1
interesting review! (i know it's a late reply)
btw, about the aesthetics of gmusicbrowser, you can checkout the shimmer-version of it, it beautifies the player quite a bit ;)
you need to install a backend for gmusicbrowser (usually it should be a dependency).
you can either install the perl-bindings for gstreamer, mplayer or mpg123
the standard shortcut is alt-f8, you can modify that in the window-manager settings > keyboard.
afaik you can't set a combination of keyboard and mouse for a shortcut there...
how about "Albatross"?
(that was the default gtk and xfwm theme in 10.04)
in case this is still a problem: try the scrollwheel over the trayicon.
if you don't use that try to use a layout with volume indicator. the volume in gmusicbrowser can be independant of other...
use version 0.7.8, at least for me (on xubuntu lucid) version 0.7.9 didn't work.
not even sure filing a bugreport makes sense as the xfce-panel-plugin is currently unmaintained.
hey everyone.
tried to compile and install xfce4-panel version 4.7.1 today.
basically everything went fine, built and installed garcon-0.1.1, libxfce4ui-4.7.1, exo-0.5.2 and upgraded xfconf without...
ad1) usually this is done via inheriting other themes, in your index.theme put the line "Inherits=$name_of_the_icon_themes(comma_separated)_you_want_to_inherit"
side answer: this is a planned...
i guess almost everyone has seen the elementary nautilus breadcrumbs.
at least theoretically (as far as i understand it) this should be possible with thunar too. unfortunately i haven't managed to...
while we're at it: what's the vfb-format and how do you use it? (somehow putting e.g. flaminia.vfb in /usr/share/fonts doesn't seem to have any effect)
well, point and click is one thing, but with the new panel-volume-control you can just hover and use your mousewheel. (tbh i use keyboard-shortcuts for changing the volume...)
sry, unintended doublepost...
well, i didn't literally mean it's "funny", more in the sense of surprising or interesting.
but since you're saying you're using gnome(-session), maybe that's what makes the difference, i'm using...
