    Try it. Add "pre-up logger test", do /etc/init.d/networking restart and cycle the interface using network manager. Then tail /var/log/syslog and look for the test message.

    Adding a pre-up command (i.e. renice +19 $(pidof wpa_supplicant)) to your wifi interface might make it work...

    This thread is about ndiswrapper. You do not use ndiswrapper, you use a native driver and are therefore (luckily) not affected.

    After a bit more fiddling about, I've tried compiling ndiswrapper versions 1.53 & 1.54.
    My conclusions are as follows..

    1.53 and earlier will not work, due to the switch to a more recent kernel...
