    Re: HP 1020 printer

Anyway, sorry to disturb the original...

    12.04 is April 2012
    13.10 is October 2013

What confuses me is the names for the different versions...

    [ubuntu] Re: grdesktop file association

I have looked at the above from rnerwein, but it will not help with what I want to be able to do.
However it is a good solution for adding a program launcher to the desktop.
Maybe I need to wait &...

As I have been a member since 2007, I think I am aware that this is all done on a volunteer basis, so do not really appreciate the sarcasm that I felt in that message.
With regard to the spelling, I...

[ubuntu] Re: Sharing files with my Secretary

Yes you share files over multiple computers & multiple platforms. Any file updated is automatically downloaded to the other machines when they are live.
  20. Re: Website idea (question about programming language)

I would go with PHP & Mysql for the database.
  21. [ubuntu] Re: Trying to install ubuntu to coexist with a windows 7 installation

Doesn't sound like grub is on the first bootable hard drive.
Go in to your BIOS & set the other HDD as the primary bootable drive & see what happens.
