    Ubuntu isn't (yet?) a rolling release distribution.
    So you don't get the newest versions in the repos.
    You can't use apt-get to install it as they don't have PPA, but you can compile it...

    Yeah, after reboot applesmc is still deactivated during the boot (after being successfully loaded...)
    BUT : good thing is I don't have anymore "wait status failed" in dmesg AND all the temperature...

    I successfully upgraded to Ibex on my Macbook.
    I just had to add "Windows List" to my gnome panel, and change the theme back.

    But basically, that's it ! It works like a charm :)
