I have videomate gold+ pal tv tuner with saa7134 on kubuntu natty.After I found correct card&tuner options,it worked perfectly on ubuntu maverick.
Now on kubuntu after tvtime-scanner it says

Try installing awn with expand option enabled. I think you can do similar,maybe even better stuff with any other dock applet,but I prefer awn

card=49 tuner=69 (37 or 40 also works fine)

I'm trying to set up this card on maverick. Modprobe gives me absolutely nothing

Managed to connect via nm-applet but after restart it can't connect again

Later,network is recognised and it says modem is ready

I can't use this modem on my lucid. Already installed usb-modeswitch & wvdial but still nothing. I can see mede in computer,named as mmc storage device,but I can't open it. When I installed...

Also tried removing plymouth conf files but no difference

On my lucid,after grub screen I get 30s of black screen with blinking cursor. No splash screen at all. I saw many threads with that problem but unable to find solution. Tried to turn off quiet...

I used to save videos I watch on internet by copying them from /etc/tmp folder on all previous versions. But,it's not working on maverick.
Are temp video files being saved somewhere else or what ???

I already installed it,with all dependencies on my dell 1525 but in's not working on Kubuntu. On same laptop,ubuntu partition,evetything is fine.

Can't understan why additional drivers window can see my drivers but can't install them

I really can't get it. Why the same driver works perfectly in ubuntu but not in kubuntu.
