I've installed xulrunner-2.0 and the libswt packages, and I've symlinked as you said. However, Eclipse still won't start - here's the bug report.

The Firefox plugin works in Opera. Install:

sudo apt-get install moonlight-plugin-mozilla

Then go to the plugins page and press Refresh. You should see a Silverlight Plug-in listed, for example...

I've now managed to run the wubi installer to completion, whereupon it asked for a reboot.
