  1. Re: Text/Console-based dialog programming tools: anything more versatile than dialog?

The python curses module is pretty decent. But the learning curve can be steep.
  2. Packaging : Suppressing Editor in dpkg-source --commit

Trying to suppress the editor from opening when doing a dpkg-source --commit.

Tried the -q quiet mode flag. No success.

Tried specifying the patch filename and directory. Again no success.

[ubuntu] Re: Ubuntu default nginx - no SSI?

I am seeing this behavior as well.

SSI does appear to be broken on oneiric nginx packages.

    Tried with nginx-full and nginx-extras.

Not sure what the issue is.

[all variants] Re: Ubuntu Preseeds for Fakeraid

    So,

    I tried a few things.

The two main directions I thought would work were attempting to manually configure the volume names using the dmraid utility itself. With ism, this appears to...

[ubuntu] Ubuntu 10..4 LDAP Config is Crap.

Why is the default config on Ubuntu 10.4 for LDAP so utterly, inconceivably, and irrecoverably broken?

Has anyone managed to successfully enable replication using this messed up slapd.d config?

Re: 2010 FIFA World Cup Thread

Brazil is still the most fun team to watch.

US, would be nice if they surprised the world. They are lucky with the bracket they currently have... especially after england failed it hard.
