Google Chrome Browser Fails to install on 11.10 ... I downloaded it 3 times now to check for damaged package.
I also tried to run it from synaptic but didnt know how.
Whats the problem ?

its actually getting stuck on all "Applying Changes" !!

After I installed 11.04 frostwire just wont connect ... it used to work perfectly on previous versions of ubuntu ... no idea why ... it loads but stucks trying to connect "Starting Connection"

I think you are right, since it started displaying wrong time in both OS (Ubuntu and Win7) after the installation of the new Ubuntu..

the weird problem is



UTC = no ... it shouldn't display...

I set my location correctly but it is displaying +2 hours from my correct time ... I can't understand from where is it getting this wrong information .. did the whole world decide to jump 2 extra...

I tried to install ubuntu-restricted-extras and all was going well until it started searching for fonts ... it cant find them and it just wont give up..
i tried to stop it CTRL + Z and if i do that...

this works fine .. but how to make it run on start up ?

In Ubuntu 10.10 there are 2 backgrounds (Cosmos and Contest) that automatically change when u activate them .. like a slide show..
is there more backgrounds like this ?

was able to solve my problem easily ... I wiped the whole drive .. deleted every partiotn on it .. reformated it and it works now. Thanks anyway
