    Sorry, I thought I got rid of the links to the sdl ttf lib, either install it of remove the line from oglsdl.h that includes the header file sdl_ttf.h.

    Another update added, fixed the score, which did suck bad, thanks to Shuffle777.
    Selectable res, color depth, and window mode.

    But I have no idea why some people dont get anything on there...

    1. Run Rhythmbox, and play a sound for a few seconds.

    2. Start up steam, and wait for it to load.

    3. Use terminal to navigate to your hl2 directory...

    I have also found an image loading library called DevIL http://openil.sourceforge.net/ it seems like it can do everything, I just don't know if it is as simple as I would like.
