    This problem still exists in natty, the command solves it.

    Installing laptop-mode-tools on natty broke my usb mouse...

    Clean install karmic server amd64, then do-release-upgrade to lucid worked for me eventually.

    I got all installed by first installing Karmic Server 64-bit on raid0, this worked on the second try. Then upgraded to lucid and all is ok.
