  1. [all variants] SSH - Limit a PAM module to a user or group?

I'm playing a bit with pam_google_autheticator.so for SSH based logins. However, if I turn this on, it seems that all users are required to have GA setup. If possible, I'd like to limit this PAM...

  3. [ubuntu] Trying to setup anonymous FTP drop w/o read

I don't know why, but I can never seem to figure out how to get FTP sites setup properly.

What I'd like to do is set up an FTP server so that anonymous users get dropped in a specific directory...

[ubuntu] Re: Oneiric - Sun-Java is MIA?

Or wait for it to appear in a PPA? So they took it out of the existing repo's (for whatever reason, doesn't much matter), and didn't provide any other in-repo options. Obnoxious.

[ubuntu] Re: Oneiric - Sun-Java is MIA?

So they did tactically nuke it from the Repo? That's obnoxious. I like Ubuntu _BECAUSE_ everything's in the repo (and/or people provide other repos). Sigh...

[ubuntu] Oneiric - Sun-Java is missing

It seems that the sun-java packages have been removed from the Ubuntu Partners PPA for Oneiric? Is this correct? Where are we supposed to get the packages now?

[all variants] Re: Managing a bunch of remote machines?

That bit comes from openVPN's use of a /30 per client as per the FAQ. Now that I actually google'd that up, I find there is a way to turn that off. Honestly, I've never tried to use OpenVPN for...

That's the thing, they aren't actually transfering any data via the VPN (or similar). That is strictly there for my management of the hardware. The monitoring software talks to a web based API.

[all variants] Re: Thunderbolt support in Linux kernel?

I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess that the likelihood of this is very slim. For two reasons. #1 - Lots of people asking the same question with no responses. #2 - There are no other machines...

Well it is obvious that the 9.04 on the download page is no LPIA. Additionally I went digging around cdimage.ubuntu.com (Which is still terribly slow/broken).

I am running Jaunty Netbook Remix on my 1000 (so "Vanilla"), albeit still in Alpha. I'd have to say, whatever works the best for you. I prefer to still with Ubuntu direct and apply patches and...
