Sorry 12.10. I thought I had put it in there.
Today I noticed that some of my apps (Inkscape, Pidgin, Polly) aren't integrating with the global menu feature. All the default applications are though. I can't pinpoint when this happened but I...
Never mind. Got it all working. I hadn't been using "optirun" sorry about that.
We'll I had been using that PPA and it opens up but it freezes and crashes when I try run an ISO.
I presumed it had something to do with it being 32 bit. I thought that this PPA I linked to, had...

That has solved it. Thank you very much :)
I have disabled and removed it but it makes no difference. I have started firefox up in safe mode which disables all add ons, and still I get the same problem.
Hope this helps.

I've been running the daily builds of this for a while and have loved it. One thing I'd like to change is the font to Ubuntu font. How would I go about doing this?
I've seen a lot of pics with this sort of output from the terminal. What is the command for it?
Thanks for all the help man. Will update when I can.
Easy to fix?
I'd really love to wipe his whole drive and partition it properly. Would be too much work though.
Will do when I get the chance. Thanks for the help.
Just for a bit in advance, If the partition's are visible from that, any idea what the problem could be? Likewise with if they aren't.
Yeah I checked what Gparted could see and it shows the same thing.
I'm not sure of the RAID but I'd be doubtful about it.
Could any other error in the way it is partitioned bring on this?
I'm trying to install Ubuntu on a friend's Sony Vaio. It's about 4 years old, and I think the model number is VGN-NR38.
During the installation process it gives no option to boot alongside windows...
They know by the geographical location of the IP or lack there of, in my latest cases. Also it logged me and the hacker out completely. Shutting down my account until I change the password basically...
Just out of curiosity, what other problems could they be?
The first time this happened to me was during the summer, and facebook alerted me and logged me out of my account. The person who logged in did it from France. This has now happened to me twice in...
That's what I presumed, but xebian'c comment made me think that he had seen where the other one was.
I suppose haha. I just couldn't find one without mac in it.
Edit: Had another look and still can't see an iso without mac in the name?
