[ubuntu] Re: Problem with xset dpms force off

Well this works, but it does mess with my Compiz. On the other hand, compiz has been sensitive as hell since I upgraded tot 12.04 so it might not be caused by the script.
  2. [all variants] Re: [SOLVED] Make "xinput set-button-map" permanent?

Thanks, this worked great. Just one problem for me: my mouse was listed twice in xinput list, so I had to slightly modify your code.

for id in `/usr/bin/xinput list | /bin/grep 'Logitech USB...
  3. [ubuntu] Re: Configure 9-button mouse per-application

Very nice. I've been using btnx and easystroke, but I didn't know easystroke was this advanced.

    Thanks for the tip!
  4. [ubuntu] Re: [SOLVED] Automatically Resume from Sleep/Standby/Suspend

    Go right ahead.
  5. [ubuntu] Re: Automatically Resume from Sleep/Standby/Suspend

    [ubuntu] Re: multi wallpaper FAILING

Getting the same thing. If I close a window, it stays visible. When I activate expo and come back, the window is gonge, but I still see the same background I had in expo.
  7. [ubuntu] Re: Automatically Resume from Sleep/Standby/Suspend

Did you copy the entire script correctly?
  8. [ubuntu] Re: Automatically Resume from Sleep/Standby/Suspend

No, you can simply save the script as suspend_for (or something) and then call it like this:
    # suspend_for 1
    # suspend_for 1 hour
    # suspend_for 2 hours
    # suspend_for 1 minute
    # suspend_for 60...
  9. [SOLVED] Re: How do I install PDT with packaged Eclipse 3.5?

So why isn't this site included in Eclipse from the default Ubuntu package, I wonder?
  10. [ubuntu] Re: Automatically Resume from Sleep/Standby/Suspend

Absolute times don't seem to work for me: might be timezone related. Anyway: I created a script that uses relative timing. Called like: suspend_for 1 hour 30 minutes

    #!/bin/sh

    # Auto suspend...
  11. Re: btnx: Send keyboard and mouse combination events with mouse buttons

    Yes, still having the problem.
  12. Re: btnx: Send keyboard and mouse combination events with mouse buttons

One problem though: I've run in to the old "thumb buttons in firefox" problem with the MX Revo and none of the fixes I've found earlier in this thread seem to work.

I've tried all sorts of xorg...
  13. Re: btnx: Send keyboard and mouse combination events with mouse buttons

Just got a MX Revolution and this has made my live so much easier.

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

Good karma to you sir! :KS
