    [ubuntu] Re: Failed backups

I'm having the same problem, using the standard Ubuntu backup program (deja-dup) with Ubuntu One as the backup server. Here's the error I'm getting:

[ubuntu] Bumblebee + Compiz at boot?

I just upgraded to Ubuntu 12.10, and my desktop is pretty sluggish (not surprising since it's using the "Gallium 0.4 llvmpipe"), which I was expecting, at least to a certain degree. I'm running a...

[SOLVED] Include files in non-standard directories?

Ok, first off I'm just getting back into C/Gtk (it's been about 2 years) and messing around with SDL a bit, so I'm working on a very simple SDL/Gtk demo to get the feel for things. My problem is...

[SOLVED] Re: is there a quicken-compatible linux app?

You should also give GnuCash a shot. It seems to work well for me and also has an "import .qif" option. I've never used Quicken, so I can't say for sure how they compare.
  9. [SOLVED] Re: Trying to install Grub only on SD card/USB disk

Yep, I don't see why not. The process should be basically the same, just be sure you know your thumbdrive's /dev/sd# after you plug it in.
  10. [SOLVED] Re: Trying to install Grub only on SD card/USB disk

I am attempting to do the same with 9.10 UNR... I am currently going through the installation process at this point, and I *think* I've done things so the bootloader will be installed onto my SD...
