  1. [ubuntu] Re: Ubuntu won't boot, unresponsive load screen

Thank you both for your help, I've not yet tried re-installing everything; I'll let that run while I sleep. I did look at the recently modified binaries, but the list was 10+ long, and I'd rather not...
  2. [ubuntu] Re: Ubuntu won't boot, unresponsive load screen

I have, yes. "make uninstall"ed everything I remembered installing. I'm guessing one of these programs installed over some system library, and, as you say, I need to replace it. I will certainly use...
  3. [ubuntu] Ubuntu won't boot, unresponsive load screen

I recently attempted to install a package using its source files instead of apt-get. The rabbit hole (read: dependencies) grew to an enormous length, and I went too deep. Believe me, I've learned my...

supermeatboy-linux-06072012-bin: ELF 32-bit LSB executable, Intel...
  10. [SOLVED] Cannot execute binaries (No such file or directory)

Trying to install Super Meat Boy on a 64 bit Ubuntu (is this even possible?), but when I try to execute the downloaded file I get the following:

    bash: ./supermeatboy-linux-06072012-bin: No such...
